Support for Anxiety

About This Project

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, constantly on edge, or caught in a cycle of worry — you’re not alone. Anxiety can affect every part of life, from your ability to relax and sleep, to how you work, socialise, or even make simple decisions. At FD Counselling & Therapy, I offer a calm, supportive space where you can begin to understand your anxiety and learn how to manage it in a way that feels right for you.

What Does Anxiety Feel Like?

Anxiety shows up differently for everyone. You might be experiencing:

•Constant overthinking or racing thoughts

•A sense of dread, fear, or panic

•Difficulty concentrating or relaxing

•Physical symptoms like a racing heart, tense muscles, or breathlessness

•Sleep problems, irritability, or feeling easily overwhelmed

•Social anxiety or fear of judgement

Whether your anxiety is mild but persistent, or intense and disruptive, it’s valid — and with the right support, it can improve.

How I Can Help

In our sessions, I’ll work with you to explore what’s beneath your anxiety. Together, we’ll:

•Identify triggers and patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours

•Develop tools and techniques to reduce anxious feelings

•Explore any past experiences or beliefs that may be fuelling anxiety

•Help you feel more in control and grounded in daily life

My approach is compassionate, person-centred, and tailored to your needs. There’s no pressure, no judgement — just space to breathe and be heard.

A Path Forward

Living with anxiety can feel exhausting, isolating, and frustrating. But it doesn’t have to be this way. With support, you can begin to calm your mind, feel more secure in yourself, and find new ways to face life’s challenges.
